I recently completed the Graduate Certificate in Advanced Dementia Care Skills at Stanmore School of Business, and I must say it was an absolutely fantastic experience! The course content was incredibly comprehensive, covering everything from the fundamentals of dementia care to more advanced topics like person-centred care and palliative care. The quality of the course materials was exceptional, with engaging video lectures, informative readings, and interactive discussions that really helped to reinforce my learning. One of the most valuable things I gained from the course was a deeper understanding of how to create a supportive and enabling environment for people with dementia. I've already started to implement some of the strategies and techniques I learned in my own practice, and I've seen a real improvement in the care and support we're able to offer. Overall, I'm so glad I chose to do this course - it's really helped me to achieve my learning goals and I feel much more confident and competent in my role as a dementia care professional.

The course content was pretty comprehensive, covering a range of topics from the basics of dementia to more advanced subjects like dementia-friendly design and technology-enabled care. One thing that I found particularly useful was the focus on practical skills and knowledge - the course included some really helpful examples and case studies that illustrated how to apply the theory in real-world practice.
