I found the International Human Rights Law course to be a solid foundation for understanding the principles and mechanisms of human rights law. As a professional working in the non-profit sector in Egypt, I was looking to enhance my knowledge of international human rights standards and their application in the Middle East. The course provided a good overview of the key instruments and institutions, including the United Nations system and regional human rights mechanisms. While some topics felt a bit rushed, the course materials were generally well-structured and easy to follow. I appreciated the examples of human rights advocacy and the role of civil society in promoting human rights. My only suggestion would be to include more case studies from the region to make the course more relatable to students from the Middle East. Overall, I'm satisfied with the course and feel that it has helped me achieve my learning goals.

I'd say the International Human Rights Law course was a great introduction to the field, with some really valuable insights and practical knowledge. As a lawyer from Brazil, I was interested in learning more about the international human rights framework and how it applies to the Latin American context. The course covered a lot of ground, from the history of human rights to the current challenges and debates. I appreciated the detailed explanations of the different human rights treaties and mechanisms, as well as the examples of human rights litigation. The course materials were generally well-organized and easy to understand, although some of the readings felt a bit dry at times. One thing that would have been helpful was more opportunities for peer feedback and discussion, as I felt that the online platform could have been utilized more effectively. Nonetheless, I'm happy with the course overall and feel that it has helped me achieve my learning objectives.
