As a mental health professional in the United States, I needed a course that would help me better serve my diverse client base. This course exceeded my expectations in every way. The instructor's expertise and the quality of the course materials were top-notch. I gained practical knowledge on how to assess and respond to trauma in a culturally sensitive manner, which has already improved my practice. For example, I learned how to use the 'Cultural Formulation Interview' to better understand the cultural context of my clients' experiences. I'm so grateful for this course and would highly recommend it to anyone working in the field of trauma response.
