I enrolled in the Global Certificate in Autism Technology and Assistive Devices (Advanced) course to enhance my skills as a speech-language pathologist. The course provided a detailed overview of the current research and best practices in autism technology and assistive devices. I found the module on mobile device-based interventions to be particularly useful, as it provided practical strategies for using tablets and smartphones to support communication and social skills development. The course materials were well-organized and easy to follow, although some of the technical terms and concepts required careful review. One area for improvement could be the inclusion of more case studies or examples from diverse cultural contexts. Nevertheless, I am satisfied with the course and appreciate the knowledge and skills I gained, which I am now applying in my work with clients.
