I feel confident that I've gained a solid foundation in international development and I'm excited to apply my knowledge in my future career.
I found the International Development course to be really informative and practical. The instructor was knowledgeable and provided plenty of examples from different countries, which helped me understand the concepts better. I liked that the course covered a range of topics, from environmental sustainability to social justice. One thing that I found particularly useful was the group project, where we had to design a development program for a hypothetical country. It was a great way to apply what we learned and get feedback from our peers. Overall, I'm satisfied with the course and I think it's a great introduction to international development.

I approached the International Development course with a critical eye, wanting to evaluate the content and methodology rigorously. I was pleased to find that the course met my expectations in many ways. The syllabus was well-structured, the readings were relevant and up-to-date, and the instructor was knowledgeable and responsive to questions. I appreciated the emphasis on evidence-based policy making and the use of data to inform development decisions. One area for improvement could be the inclusion of more case studies from East Asia, which would have been relevant to my own interests and context. Nevertheless, I found the course to be a valuable learning experience and I would recommend it to others interested in international development.
