I took the Surrogacy Counseling course at Stanmore School of Business and it was a really cool experience! I learned a lot about the different types of surrogacy, the importance of counseling for all parties involved, and how to create a supportive environment for intended parents and surrogates. The course materials were pretty good, but I think some of the videos could be more engaging. Overall, I'm happy with what I learned and I feel more prepared to work with surrogacy clients in my own practice. One thing that really stuck with me was the discussion on cultural sensitivity and how to work with clients from diverse backgrounds. It's definitely something I'll keep in mind as I move forward in my career.
