The course content was very detailed and comprehensive, covering everything from the assessment and diagnosis of addiction to the development of treatment plans and relapse prevention strategies. I particularly appreciated the emphasis on trauma-informed care and the importance of addressing underlying mental health issues. The course materials were generally of high quality, although I did find some of the written assignments to be a bit lengthy and time-consuming. That said, the feedback from the instructors was always constructive and helpful, and I appreciated the opportunity to reflect on my own practice and identify areas for improvement. One thing that I found really helpful was the section on mindfulness-based interventions – it's an area I'd been interested in for a while, and the course really helped me to understand how to incorporate these techniques into my work with clients. All in all, I'd definitely recommend this course to others, although I do think it could be improved with a bit more focus on the practical applications of the material.
