The Literatura Comparada course perfectly aligned with my academic goals. The modules on comparative theory gave me a clear framework for analyzing texts from different cultures, and the final project—an essay comparing 19th‑century American and British novels—allowed me to apply those methods directly. I especially appreciated the high‑quality PDF excerpts from primary sources and the concise video lectures that highlighted key concepts. The course materials were up‑to‑date and directly relevant to my research in transatlantic literature. Overall, the learning experience was seamless and highly satisfying; I feel fully equipped to pursue further comparative studies.
The Literatura Comparada course offered a meticulously detailed curriculum that matched my learning objectives step by step. Starting with foundational concepts like genre theory, the syllabus progressed to complex case studies, such as a comparative analysis of Tagore’s poetry and contemporary American prose. I gained practical skills in constructing comparative frameworks, which I applied in my final assignment—a research paper that juxtaposed postcolonial narratives from India and the Caribbean. The course materials were comprehensive: annotated readings, interactive timelines, and weekly quizzes that reinforced the content. While I would have appreciated more live discussion sessions, the overall experience was thorough and left me well‑prepared for advanced comparative research.
