The course provided a thorough overview of the subject matter, and I appreciated the emphasis on evidence-based practice. The course materials were well-organized, and the discussions with my peers were thought-provoking. I'm really pleased with the 'Assistive Technology for Occupational Therapy' course at Stanmore School of Business. As a South African occupational therapist, I was looking to update my skills and knowledge in assistive technology to better serve my clients in resource-constrained settings. The course provided a comprehensive introduction to the field, and I appreciated the focus on low-cost and accessible solutions. The course materials were well-structured, and the online discussions were engaging. One aspect that stood out was the emphasis on cultural sensitivity and adaptability, which is essential in our diverse and often under-resourced context. While some of the technologies discussed may not be readily available in our setting, the course helped me think creatively about how to adapt and improvise with limited resources. Overall, I'd recommend this course to my colleagues, especially those working in similar contexts.
