As a Danish student of education, I was looking for a course that would provide me with a comprehensive overview of child development theories and practices. The course did not disappoint - the instructor was knowledgeable and the course materials were well-organized and easy to follow. I particularly appreciated the emphasis on cultural and societal factors that influence child development, as well as the discussions on diversity and inclusion. One area for improvement could be the inclusion of more Scandinavian or European case studies, as the course materials were somewhat biased towards North American contexts. Nonetheless, I found the course to be engaging, relevant, and well-taught, and I would recommend it to my fellow students.
