Tax Optimization #

The process of legally minimizing a business or individual's tax liability through the use of tax planning strategies and the use of tax credits and deductions.

Transfer Pricing #

The pricing of goods and services sold between controlled (or related) legal entities within an enterprise. Transfer pricing can be used to allocate the profit or loss between controlled entities, and is often used in international transactions.

Value #

Added Tax (VAT): A consumption tax placed on a product whenever value is added at each stage of the supply chain, from production to the point of sale. The amount of VAT that the user pays is the cost of the product, less any of the costs of materials used in the product that have already been taxed.

XBRL (eXtensible Business Reporting Language) #

A global standard for exchanging business information. XBRL is used to exchange financial, performance, risk, and compliance information between businesses and regulatory bodies, and can be used to automate the process of tax compliance.
