I recently completed the Advanced Certificate in Digital Library Transformation and Innovation at Stanmore School of Business, and I'm pleased to report that it was a valuable learning experience. As a librarian in Japan, I was interested in gaining a deeper understanding of the theoretical and conceptual frameworks underlying digital libraries, as well as the practical applications and implications. The course content was detailed and comprehensive, covering topics such as digital library architecture, metadata standards, and user experience design. I appreciated the emphasis on critical thinking and analysis, as well as the opportunities for reflection and self-directed learning.
