As a librarian, I wanted to enhance my skills in curating a diverse and relevant collection for our community. The course exceeded my expectations, providing me with practical knowledge on collection assessment, policy development, and vendor management. The instructor's expertise and the quality of the course materials were outstanding. I appreciated the real-world examples and case studies that illustrated key concepts. I've already applied some of the strategies to our library's collection development plan, and I'm excited to see the positive impact it will have on our patrons. The course content was comprehensive and well-organized, covering topics such as collection assessment, policy development, and vendor management. I found the instructor's explanations to be clear and concise, and the course materials were of high quality. One of the strengths of the course was the emphasis on practical applications and real-world examples, which helped to illustrate key concepts and make them more relatable. I also appreciated the opportunity to interact with peers from diverse backgrounds and learn from their experiences. While I found the course to be generally well-structured, I did feel that some of the topics could have been explored in more depth. Nevertheless, I gained valuable knowledge and skills that I can apply to our institute's collection development efforts, and I would recommend this course to others in the field.
